“ We enjoyed our lunch at El Segundo. We sat outside on the deck with a nice view of Gore Creek. They easily accommodated our gluten restrictions. We started with nachos which were generous with lots of yummy toppings. For the second course, we each enjoyed a taco. The tacos were all creative and flavorful. Our cocktails were also nice. Will definitely visit again! ”
“ Recommend by locals and I see why. We had exceptional service from Ethan, in which made all the other great things about this place extra special. The bartenders were on point as well, as there was no wait between ordering and drink delivery. Korean beef was on point, some of the best I’ve ever had. Large portions as well. Tres leches cake was also very good. ”
“ Spicy margaritas are great with the cucumber and spicy salted rim, tacos always on point and large portions. I had the wagyu sticky bowl, flavors all work perfectly! The small bald manager was great, Don was his name I think. Everyone smiling and hustling, a great Vail spot!! ”
“ Good gosh... You better be hungry of you go here... Our hotel recommended this restaurant since we were looking for some Mexican food in the Vail area... Like everything in Vail village... It's all expensive, but I think the size of our meals that we ordered were made up for the prices. The margaritas were very good. The chips were fantastic... I just wish I had been hungrier! ”
“ A twisted tale of tequila and tacos. Scotland made our Vail experience at El Segundo awesome. Tucked alongside the water in Vail. El Segundo offers the largest variety of tequila in the county. The homemade chips and salsa are great. We had the nachos and some specialty tacos. The cocktails were served cold and quickly. Would recommend. ”
“ I had the pleasure of dining at El Segundo with my friend Marilyn yesterday, and I can't express how thrilled I am that our original lunch plans fell through! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant, professional, and welcoming. Our server, Catherine, provided exceptional service. She was attentive and helped me choose between two tacos—one vegetarian and one fish. Both were delicious, but the vegetarian cauliflower taco was the standout! The chips and guacamole were also fantastic. The hostess was energetic and seated us at a table with a beautiful view, which added to our delightful experience. After returning home, I shared my wonderful experience with my husband and promised we would come back in the spring. Vail is just a short drive from Arvada, and I can't wait to enjoy another lunch here. As someone who has supported my husband through two rounds of server training, I truly appreciate the quality of service we received. Thank you for a memorable meal! I’ll definitely be back! ”
“ They have two locations, one in vail and one in Eagle. We went to the vail location. Fun, energetic, trendy but also casual Mexican food with some Asian and American style mixed in for fun and flavor. The bar has a huge assortment of tequilas. I highly recommend the purple rain which featured mezcal, prickly pear, lime, serrano, citrus liqueur topped with sparkling water and a tajin rim. For meal, we had the smothered carne asada burrito which consisted of grilled flatiron steak, spanish rice, refried pinto beans with smoked pork, pico de gallo, red chili sauce, melted cheddar and Monterey Jack. We also tried three of their tacos: Nash Vegas: southern fried chicken, spicy chili oil, creamy slaw, dill pickle; the 24 hour carnitas which was outstanding; and their Baja style crispy cod taco. One of the features of the restaurant that I truly enjoyed was the colorful over the table lamps throughout the restaurant. Great food and I’m sure we will be back on our next trip to vail. Service was prompt, friendly. The waiters were wearing restaurant tshirts that featured funny quotes also. ”
“ I was at El Segundo in Vail before, I will say 3 years ago, and I wasn't impressed with food, customer services, or cocktails. But this time my experience is totally different. Ali, our server was incredibly great! Above and beyond ... ”
